Just thought I would write you all a quick note wishing you all a Merry Christmas! We are so blessed each and everyday... in health, joy, peace and I consider it such a blessing to be able to pour into these kids lives! I know that I am not qualified "on my own" but through Christ we are all called to do something!!
I know that the holidays can be hard for all of you without your child, but as you all know by now we love them as you do and encourage them as a parent would..... it still is hard I know. In saying that I would like to encourage you all to think of the "big picture" of your child's life.... they are all going to come out of this process hopefully a more kinder, sincere, and loving person. You have added years and joy to their life by doing this and when it seems too hard....please just remember that God has got this!! Our God knows your tears, your fears, and your desires for your child.... HE wants even better things for them than we can imagine.... because He loves them incredibly more than we do!!
I love the Christmas season because it brings everything "home" to me..... I have a Savior that sent His one and only Son to die on my behalf to take away my sin.... before I even knew Him. WOW!! In all the wretchedness of myself and my past He first loved me.... sometimes I have a hard time wrapping my mind around that.
So I pray a special blessing over all of you who have a child in the program or are looking to place your child somewhere....
"Lord, I ask that you would give each parent peace and joy this season, that you would fill them with Your Love, and that they would know You even better today than they did yesterday. I ask that you would grant them the desires of their heart and that they would find all that they need in You and only You. I ask you bless each one today and give each one wisdom and joy in this process. I pray they would trust You with their child and release them back to You so that their child can walk in the fullness that only You have for them.
We ask this in Jesus's Mighty Name!
Amen.... and amen!"
